Walls inside the Love Island villa are brimming with secrets, and while the cameras are recording 24/7, there are some activities the cameras won't catch. If only the walls could speak... but luckily former Islander winner Kem Cetinay can.
He has previously spoken out about how islanders are given one day off per week in which they can remove their microphones and head to the beach for a relaxing escape. But, Kem added, contestants are still watched like a hawk by producers. It's the frustrating reason why Love Island doesn't air on Saturday nights, and we instead get to watch a catch-up show of the weeks' unseen best bits.
Narrator Iain Stirling is of course always in full swing with his hilarious commentary. Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter. Islanders are allowed to wander freely without consequence (well, you know, within reason), as long as they don't talk about anything to do with the show.
He explained on ITV's This Morning: "People are going mad on Twitter as to why it's not on Saturdays but I know why. "Most people don't know this but islanders get a day off every week from the show. "Normally we go to the beach and we just chill out. There are no microphones.
