Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has seen his fortune double to a whopping £16million, thanks to savvy investments in property worth over £3.3million. Now 34, Daniel became a household name globally after first appearing as young wizard Harry in 2001. Company records reveal that last year he had a cool £8,832,790 in his bank account, which has now doubled to an impressive £16,085,209, according to The Mirror.

Daniel's parents, Marcia and Alan, have been taking care of his finances since he earned his first £800,000 from Harry Potter. Daniel has homes in west London and New York, and made a whopping £40 million from the last two Harry Potter films.
Speculation has been rife that he is set to take over from Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the Marvel series due to his sculpted physique - but as yet nothing has been confirmed. Last November, Daniel was left upset as he spoke about his friend and stunt double David Holmes, who was paralysed while filming Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1. David, once a top gymnast, is now being featured in a documentary called David Holmes: The Boy Who
