The tragic death of TV star Jesse Baird was announced this week, and his ex-boyfriend Beau Lamarre, a policeman, has been charged with his murder.
The former celebrity blogger turned cop is also accused of killing Jesse's current partner, Luke Davies. Jesse, 26, who was a popular face on Australia's Channel Ten, and Luke went missing under suspicious circumstances after their home was found with blood and a bullet casing, sparking a manhunt for Beau, who eventually handed himself in at Bondi police station in Sydney. Before joining the police force in 2019, Beau was a well-known celebrity blogger who had met big stars like Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, and Miley Cyrus.
Sadly, the bodies of Jesse and Luke, 29, have not yet been found and their cause of death remains unknown. Family members have revealed that Beau's break up with Jesse was "bitter". Police believe Jesse and Luke were killed on Monday, 19 February, inside Jesse's house in Paddington, a suburb in Sydney.
New South Wales Police said a bullet matching Beau's work-issued gun was found at the crime scene and he didn't show up for work on Tuesday. Before his untimely and tragic death, Jesse lived a vibrant life, and loved spending time with his family and friends. Just six days ago, Jesse shared a snap with Luke as they attended a P!nk concert in Sydney.
Captioning the photo, he said: "Pink > Taylor." The presenter loved to travel, and documented his adventures on social media. In recent years, Jesse travelled all over the world, including Venice, London and San Sebastián, as well as enjoying city breaks around Australia in places including Melbourne and Brisbane. Jesse was also a huge music lover, and could regularly be found attending music festivals and concerts
