An inquest has opened into the death of Steven McMyler, who was found dead in the gardens of Wigan Parish Church.The 34-year-old died following an incident on Thursday, August 6, and a hearing looking at the circumstances around his death was launched today (Thursday) at Bolton Coroners Court.Coroner Timothy Brennand heard that Mr McMyler was a joiner who had lived in the Marsh Green area of Wigan.The medical cause of his death was given as "head injuries".Speaking at the opening of the inquest,
