An inquest has opened into the death of a man whose body was found in a canal.
Scott Anderton, 33, was found dead in the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, in Leigh, on March 25.
An inquest into his death was opened at Bolton Coroner's Court this afternoon (Tuesday, April 20).
A pathologist has given Mr Anderton's cause of death as 'multiple sharp force injuries', the court heard.
