Netflix has released the first trailer for The Unforgivable starring Sandra Bullock as an ex-convict struggling to re-adapt to society.Directed by Nora Fingscheidt, the film is based on the 2009 British miniseries Unforgiven by Sally Wainwright.Bullock plays the lead role of Ruth Slater who, after serving a prison sentence for a violent crime, faces judgment as she re-enters society and searches for her younger sister, who she lost contact with.You can check out the trailer below.Alongside

The 57-year-old actress went for a makeup-free look, for the film, where she played a criminal who was released from prison after two decades, and the natural look perfectly complimented her raw and emotional performance in the trailer.

The actress has three films set for releases over the next year, like the assassin thriller “Bullet Train” alongside Brad Pitt and the romantic adventure film “The Lost City Of D” with Channing Tatum.

UPDATE: Director Richard Stanley (Color Out of Space) who was the subject of allegations of abuse by an ex-partner, has filed criminal complaints in France in response.

Paramount comedy The Lost City will now open wide three weeks earlier than expected, the studio announced today, as its release date moves from April 15 to March 25, 2022.
