ENHYPEN have been named Prada’s newest brand ambassador.The seven-member K-pop group’s appointment as the Italian luxury fashion house’s new ambassadors was first reported today (June 9) by Women’s Wear Daily and the K-pop Herald.“We’re delighted and honoured to be a part of this partnership as new brand ambassadors of Prada,” ENHYPEN said in a statement, per WWD. “The synergy Prada and ENHYPEN will create is something we’re very excited to witness and greatly looking forward to.”According to the K-pop Herald, ENHYPEN will start to “[participate] in different brand activities and global events as the rising stars of fashion” as part of their ambassadorship with Prada.ENHYPEN being named ambassadors for Prada comes shortly after the K-pop boyband were spotted at the luxury fashion brand’s Fall 2023 Menswear show during Milan Fashion Week in January, per Teen Vogue.ENHYPEN are the latest South Korean celebrities to sign with Dior as an ambassador for the brand.

Hong Sung-eun’s sensitive drama “Aloners” is a reflective interrogation into modern loneliness, as well as the silent brutalities of today’s urban life defined by competition, technology and nonstop productivity. The film follows a depressed young woman named Jina (Gong Seung-yeon), who works at a call center. She is currently the top employee in the office and is praised for having handled the greatest number of calls despite having lost her mother recently. Productivity is the most-valued trait in her workplace, and Jina knows this well. She treats all her clients equally, whether they happen to be deranged, abusive or pleasant. Her voice is always polite and calm regardless of how her often-entitled clients behave, but her eyes appear soulless. She looks like someone with a serious but completely asymptomatic disease.

King the Land.King the Land follows the story of Gu Won (2PM‘s Lee Junho), the charming and intelligent heir to a chaebol who is suddenly caught in the middle of an inheritance tug-of-war. Meanwhile, there’s Cheon Sa-rang (Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA), a simple girl who is happy to just land a job at King Hotel, owned by Gu Won’s family.The new trailer for King the Land opens with Sa-rang meeting Gu Won for the first time, where she cheerfully welcomes him as the company new director to his chagrin.In a separate scene, we see Gu Won telling Sa-rang: “Don’t smile”, to which she responds with, “Just think of it as my uniform”.

Baekhyun, Xiumin and Chen have filed antitrust complaints against longtime label and K-pop agency SM Entertainment.The trio’s attorney Lee Jae-hak, from the Seoul-based law firm Lin, announced in a statement today (June 5) that the three EXO members have lodged a complaint with South Korea’s antitrust regulator over SM Entertainment’s “unfair” contract terms, per Yonhap News Agency.“On behalf of my clients, I submitted a complaint to the Fair Trade Commission against SM Entertainment yesterday,” Lee said in a press release. He added that they are seeking the authorities’ intervention in “the company’s act of abusing its dominant position in business”.According to Yonhap, Baekhyun, Xiumin and Chen’s complaint addresses issues such as the duration of SM Entertainment contracts, as compared to those from other K-pop agencies, and how the company establishes the starting point for exclusive contracts.The complaint by the three EXO members comes just days after Baekhyun, Xiumin and Chen notified SM Entertainment through their lawyer Lee that they would be terminating their contracts with the agency, citing “mistreatment and unfair contract terms”.SM Entertainment later refuted claims made by the trio on various issues.

Local media photos showed that Yoo’s hands were tied with what appeared to be a blue cloth or cord before and during his 90-minute daytime court appearance. On this ordinary day, each of them has a visitor: Sangwon is visited by her cousin, Jisoo (Park Miso) and Uiju, by a young actor,Jaewon (Ha Seongguk).
