An "idyllic" and "beautiful" hotel on a tiny Scottish island is currently hiring staff - and the position includes live-in accommodation.
The St. Columba Hotel is situated just off Mull on the historic Isle of Iona, set in a former church minister's house built in 1846. The hotel is currently recruiting a Restaurant Manager on a full-time basis.
The position, which pays £14.50 per hour, involves ensuring that the hotel's restaurant runs smoothly. Responsibilities include maintaining an appropriate level of stock, motivating and inspiring the restaurant team to create a positive and hard-working environment, and bringing inspiration for new ideas where the hotel can use its own produce.
According to the Indeed job listing, the successful applicant is required to have at least one year of experience in a similar role. Additionally, the St. Columba Hotel is also looking for "an enthusiastic individual with self motivation and a keen ability to lead your team", who will "inject your own personality and ideas into a key area with enormous potential".
Meanwhile, in addition to living and working in a beautiful and unique place, advantages of the role include food and accommodation and paid holidays. The hotel also offers a company pension and a referral programme.
The job listing states: "The St Columba hotel is a place our guests come to relax! With 27 bedrooms offering breakfast, lunch and dinner in a setting with spectacular views across the Sound of Iona.
