wrong reasons. Think that weird feta pasta dish and ramen lasagna… you get my drift? Cue reality star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner of Keeping Up with The Kardashian fame. Around six years ago, Kylie shared her very own ramen noodle invention on her public Snapchat account - yes, we are going back a while.
In her post she shared how she added three extra ingredients to your classic university life instant noodles meal. The star managed to trademark her own recipe, and years after it first hit the public’s conscious, TikTokers were recreating the dish, raving about its simplicity and flavour. Egg, butter, garlic powder. That was it. The garlic and egg I could understand but BUTTER!? Right from the off, the addition of butter didn’t sit right.

But if this ramen recipe was good enough for Kylie Jenner, it would be good enough for me, right? Its method was also perfectly simple, so simple it could've been written for a child…make of that what you will. Off I trotted to the supermarket, fetching myself a packet of chicken-flavoured ramen noodles (as per the recipe request), a block of butter, eggs, and garlic powder. They looked like a mismatched friendship group as they loitered next to each other in my shopping basket.
