Roxie Nafousi recalled a scary hospital dash with her fans in a recent Instagram post.
The self development coach and speaker, 33, opened up on her health scare in a lengthy personal post on her public page. She revealed: "The night before I flew to Ibiza, I found myself in the back of an ambulance heading to A&E after suffering a Hempilegic Migraine which mimics the symptoms of a stroke.
For 50 minutes I was completely paralysed on the left side of my body, including my face, arms and legs, and I couldn’t see properly. I honestly believed I was having a stroke.” She went on to add: “It came seemingly out of nowhere although it is clear that it was bought on by stress and anxiety which had been building up for the weeks prior.
It was a definite wake up call for me to prioritise my nervous system and set clearer boundaries with work as we head into the next few months.” Determined to see the positive in the situation, she finished by stating: “It was a much needed few days here in Ibiza with my boys although it took me time to unwind, but I feel I’ve learned a lot in this short time as I’ve been reflecting on life and I am ready to action change back in London! Every experience is a lesson and an opportunity to GROW and EVOLVE!” Following her post, fans were quick to respond to Roxie’s health scare, with one agreeing about the seriousness of Hempilegic Migraines. They commented: "They are very scary - see them a lot on my clinical practice and stress is a common trigger.
Did the right thing by getting checked out.
Take care." Another called her an ‘inspiration’ as they commented: “Glad you're well lovely Roxie so proud of your journey and thanks for sharing so openly and vulnerable. You're an inspiration” in a post adorned
