Dumped Love Island star George Fensom has revealed that he's returned to regular working life, just weeks after he was dumped from the villa. George, 24, sparked controversy ahead of his time in the villa after he was branded a "cheat" and a "narcissist" by his ex-girlfriend, a claim he has since denied.
And although he did embark on a party tour in Zante and Kavos following his dumping, he has since returned to the UK, where he is now working as a delivery driver. Revealing his career change on the Secure The Insecure Podcast, George, who had previously worked as a business development executive, said: "The main reason I went for the role was because it keeps me out and about in fresh air and walking.
"The last thing I needed to do after coming back from the show was to be sat behind the desk. As much as I love my old job, I think so soon after Love Island, I didn't really want to do that." Adding that he wasn't given many opportunities following his exit, George continued: "I think maybe like way up top they might be like, it's better to just try and forget about this guy." Following his villa exit, George, who was the first islander dumped this series, told OK! that while he didn't find love, he did find friends for life.
He said: "I wanted to find love and I don’t think I was given enough time to make that happen. But if I didn’t come out as a couple, I knew I wanted to meet friends for life.
