Pregnant Love Island star Laura Anderson is eagerly anticipating the birth of her first child, after announcing she was expecting a baby in February. The 34 year old's life has changed a lot over the past year, having moved back to the UK from Dubai, before starting filming for E4's Celebs Go Dating, where she struck up a relationship with fellow celeb, ex-EastEnders star, Gary Lucy, 41. She announced that she was pregnant with her first child in February, however, the same day it emerged that she and Gary had broken up.
Despite that, the Scottish star is nothing but positive, and now she's found out that she's expecting a baby girl, she's looking towards the future with a smile on her face. In her latest exclusive pregnancy column forOK!, Laura delved into her feelings about raising her unborn child as a single mother, as she admits that she is 'grieving for the life she thought she'd have'. I'm grieving for the life I thought I'd have I've been putting a lot of things, such as a baby shower, off, because I feel like I'm sort of grieving the life I thought I'd have, being pregnant.
It's a grievance what I thought my life was going to be like, at this point, and how I thought my first pregnancy was going to be - settled down with my partner and raising a baby together. I'm just going through the process of realising that my life isn't going to be like that, because I am doing it myself, and just coming to terms with the fact that it's not going to be the way I thought it would. I've been putting off baby milestones I haven't done much baby shopping or planned much for my pregnancy, or the baby, but now I am in my third trimester, it's time to start doing it.
