A dad strangled his partner after she confronted him about a message from a girl.
Sean McDermott, 24, grabbed the woman by her neck and threw on the sofa, before pinning her down and spitting, Liverpool Crown Court heard.
Horrified neighbours called the police and officers arrived at the property to find the woman with her pyjamas ripped off, the ECHO reports.
