Chris Moyles has revealed to his I'm A Celebrity campmates that he used to weigh over 18 stone at his heaviest.
The former Radio 1 presenter shed an impressive six stone after making some lifestyle changes. He discussed his journey on the ITV show when Loose Women star Charlene White asked how he did it.
He thanked a combination of exercise, including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as cutting out two things from his diet that led him to leading a healthier life.
Wales Online reports that Chris managed to get down to 16 stone before embarking on the climb in 2009, and lost a whole stone during the challenging trek.
Speaking on I'm A Celebrity, he said: "I sat at 15 [stone] for ages and I had a trainer, and one day I just went, 'It's a waste of time this training, I'm not losing any weight' and he just barked at me, 'That's because your diet's s***!' So we had a big chat… I fell down to 12 stone really quickly. 10 years ago [that was]."
Chris revealed the "truth" to his weight loss back in 2017 after there was widespread speculation over how he'd shed the pounds, saying he'd stopped buying bread and "dramatically" cut his lager intake.
He told fans on Facebook that some publications had said he'd been using a weight loss supplement called Slimfy, which he described as a "disturbing inaccuracy" as he'd never even heard of the product before.
Instead, he said it was simply down to eating better and doing more regular exercise.
During lockdown, Chris also appeared on Ross Kemp's podcast, The Kempcast, and discussed not only his career but his major weight loss transformation - where he also stated that his body and wheat do not get on, leading to him not buying bread "in years".
