There's not much Kerry Katona hasn't done, and giving birth on TV is one to check off the list. Back in 2008, the former Atomic Kitten star gave birth to her fourth child, and only son, Max. Capturing the moment for all to see, her labour was filmed and later broadcast on her MTV reality show, named Crazy In Love.
And now, the star reveals she has no regrets over the decision, and even recommends it. Describing it as the 'best photo album you could have' in her exclusive weekly column, Kerry responded to Olivia Attwood's recent revelation that she would be up for filming her first labour too. While she isn't quite ready for children yet, Olivia, who has recently documented the process leading up to her wedding to footballer Bradley Dack with an ITVBe series, hasn't ruled out sharing the more intimate aspects of her life on TV.
"The idea of filming my birth is scary but yes in some capacity it would be natural to share that, and I'd want to. I think that would be fun and the viewers would have grown up with me and to see me making life would be really cool," Olivia told MailOnline recently. Agreeing that she's all for it, Kerry wrote in her column, "Olivia Attwood recently said that when she has her first baby, she wants to film the birth for her TV show.
I say, absolutely do it. "When I gave birth to my son Max it was shown on my MTV reality show, but there was only one person in the room holding the camera, so it’s not like there was a crew gathered round. We all watch shows like One Born Every Minute.
