A pensioner who grabbed his wife by the throat told police "I didn't kill her but I wanted to", a court heard.
Michael Lynch, 68, strangled his wife twice on April 17 this year and later said he was "sick of her moaning all the time".
Lynch said he was "going to kill her to put her out of her misery" as he attacked her, before later calling police and confessing his crimes.
