Gino Bartali was a fixture at the big races like Milan-San Remo, the Giro d’Italia and the Tour of Lombardy. He never really seemed to be doing much, to the extent that I pondered what his role was. 

Normal People’s raunchy sex scenes have divided a nation and even managed the seemingly impossible feat of overwhelming Joe Duffy. Why we still flinch at the sight of a little flesh on Irish telly is anyone’s guess.
