Neighbours actor Troy Beckwith has died at the age of 48, with his soap co-stars confirming the sad news on social media.

Hundreds of people lined the streets to pay tribute to an inspirational young girl. Ava Grace was diagnosed with a rare and terminal condition called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy, which caused a progressive loss of physical and mental skills, at the age of two.
But despite her diagnosis, and initially being given two years to live, Ava remained a positive little girl who faced everything with a smile, defying all odds.
She sadly died on December 27. And scores turned out to say a final goodbye to Ava, from the Wirral, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Ava was born a happy and healthy baby who was "advanced" for her age, often surpassing her milestones with ease. But parents Katie Lowe and James Harris soon realised something was wrong when she began to complain of pains in her legs and was having difficulty with walking.
"Eventually she stopped being able to walk, use her hands, lost her sight and couldn't eat. Her hearing became sharp because of the loss of other senses but she was so happy" her Uncle Scott Lowe said.
"She did everything normal kids do, there was a huge fundraiser to send her to Disney, she loved Disney, it was just before she lost her sight and she loved it. She was Disney mad, everything in our house was Disney."
Ava became a well-known face in the Seacombe community and across Merseyside, proving an inspiration to all. Tragically, around Christmas, the brave young girl became ill with a cough and was rushed to hospital.
Defying all odds over the years, Ava sadly passed away on December 27 surrounded by her loved ones, aged just eight.
