After Taylor Swift called out one of Netflix‘s newest hits, Ginny & Georgia, for the “deeply sexist” remark one of the characters made about her, her boyfriend Joe Alwyn came out in support of her.  The 31-year-old entertainer posted on Twitter, “Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard-working women by defining this horse sh*t as FuNnY.

Now, excitement is building for the dramatisation of Rooney’s debut work, Conversations With Friends, which is premiering on BBC Three in 2022.

Conversations with Friends, the adaptation of Normal People author Sally Rooney’s debut novel, has just been released.Newcomer Alison Oliver will be playing the lead role of Frances, alongside Sasha Lane, Joe Alwyn and Jemima Kirke.The story follows Frances, a 21-year-old college student, alongside her ex-girlfriend and now best friend Bobbi, played by Sasha Lane.
