The best way for cable-cutters to tune into any of the above live broadcasts is on a live TV streamer such as DirecTV Stream, Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV or FuboTV. Aside from the Times Square Ball Drop, you can also ring in the New Year with CBS’s “Nashville’s Big Bash,” a five-hour special featuring performances by Morgan Wallen, Bailey Zimmerman, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Thomas Rhett and dozens more country stars.
The special airs in two two-and-a-half-hour blocks for a total of five hours — 7:30-10 p.m. ET/PT, followed after a half-hour break for locals news by a part two running from 10:30 p.m.-1:05 a.m. ET/PT.
