Maximising annual leave is a serious endeavour indeed, and by using bank holidays to your advantage, workers can more than double their time off.
If you can believe it, 2022 is already half over. Keen holidaymakers may have already booked off parts of 2023, but you can still make the most of annual leave.
You can score 47 days of holiday using only 19 days of annual leave next year if you play your cards right.
The official bank holidays for 2023 haven't been published yet, but assuming the typical schedule, workers can get a lot of leave if they plan strategically around a typical Monday to Friday rota, BirminghamLive reported.
By taking days off before and after bank holidays - and adding weekends into the mix - people can stretch out as little as three days of annual leave to a 10-day break.
