Tickets for Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte sold out quickly on Wednesday after around 200,000 attempted to buy a seat at Wembley Stadium. The queue grew as large as 150,000 at one point - with tens of thousands more attempting to buy tickets - leaving many fans inevitably disappointed with Wembley's capacity being only 90,000.
Wednesday saw the race for tickets begin when they had gone on sale on midday - a day after Fury held a press conference with Whyte refusing to show up. Fury later claimed all 90,000 tickets were snapped up within hours, celebrating on his social media platforms as he stated: "This is for all the people who bought tickets for Wembley and made it a sell-out; I salute them."
This will be Fury's first fight on home soil for four years, with his last five bouts - including his trilogy with Deontay Wilder. Those fights have since his stature raise significantly - putting in impressive boxing performances, whilst overcoming a tonne of adversity on the way.

With the Reds still fighting in three competitions, any injury to their star man would be a huge concern and the club will be hoping that the news proves to be positive.
