This is the type of filmmaker and filmmaking so strong it gets the attention of a filmmaker who comes on as an executive producer to champion it, and that’s exactly what Steven Soderbergh has done with “Divinity” (remember, Soderbergh essentially did the same thing with Christopher Nolan did, sans credit, for “Memento” and look how that turned out).
