The Great British Bake Off celebrity edition is back for 2022, with 20 celebrities set to enter the tent later this month in an attempt to impress the judges with their baking skills. Kicking off on Tuesday March 22, each of the charity series’ episodes will see four celebs go head to head in hopes of winning the coveted ‘Star Baker’ title.The celebrity special, which is running in support of Stand Up To Cancer, will start next week, with presenters Emma Willis and Clara Amfo, actor Blake Harrison and Taskmaster star Alex Horne set to star in the first episode.

BandLab NME Awards 2022 award winners Bring Me The Horizon are due to stage their own festival in Malta in May – an event they’ve said will be “like Fyre Festival but with better sandwiches”.The Sheffield band were speaking to NME from the winner’s room after picking up the trophy for Best Band From The UK Supported By Pizza Express.Bring Me’s Malta festival, announced last November, will take place from May 26-30 and feature a full live show and an exclusive retrospective set from the band.Discussing what to expect from the event, drummer Mat Nicholls promised “bingo with Jordan Fish [BMTH keys player]. It’s called ‘Bringo’.”“It’s like Fyre Festival but with better sandwiches,” frontman Oli Sykes added.The festival’s line-up, handpicked by the band, includes Bullet For My Valentine, Beartooth, PVRIS, Motionless In White, Spiritbox, Nova Twins and Wargasm.There will also be a host of club nights, pool party takeovers and boat parties.

Bring Me The Horizon closed the BandLab NME Awards 2022 tonight (March 2) with a storming six-song set which the band dedicated to the people of Ukraine.Taking to the O2 Academy Brixton stage for their ceremony-ending set, BMTH, who were proudly displaying the Ukrainian flag on their bass drum skin, launched into ‘Can You Feel My Heart’.They then played ‘Parasite Eve’ (where they were joined by two dancers in yellow hazmat suits), ‘Die4U’, ‘Mantra’ and ‘1×1’, which they performed with help from Nova Twins.Prior to their set-closing track ‘Throne’, BMTH frontman Oli Sykes paid tribute to the Ukrainian people following last week’s Russian invasion.“I guess it’s better being here in a room full of influential people: they need to use their voice every single day until this crisis is over,” he told the room.“If Kyiv does not survive, international peace will not survive,” he added, before the band tore into ‘Throne’.Earlier in the night, the Sheffield five-piece collected the award for Best Band From The UK Supported By Pizza Express. Limp Bizkit have added two extra shows to their upcoming UK tour.The nu-metal icons – who released their sixth studio album ‘Still Sucks’ back in October – are set to hit the road in September and have now added a couple of new dates to their UK jaunt due to increasing demand.Fred Durst and co. will now play a second date at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on September 8, the day after their rescheduled gig at the venue.

Playground Games has released a new Forza Horizon 5 update which adds sign language support.Previously announced last year, the sign language support feature has been in development for a while but has finally arrived today for all platforms.When players boot up Forza Horizon 5, they should be able to find both American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) features in the settings.The sign language update will support 150 in-game cinematics that are shown throughout the game, making the driving game much more accessible for deaf and hard of hearing players.The newly released YouTube video shows how the feature has been implemented, with actors from the deaf and hard of hearing community signing in the corner of the screen during the cinematics, story segments, and challenges.In a new blog post detailing the update, Microsoft’s chief accessibility officer, Jenny Lay-Flurrie, discussed the new update and talked about her own deafness, saying that with the addition of signing in the game, she no longer needs to ask her family what she missed.“There are so many people with disabilities and people who are deaf. Bring Me The Horizon‘s recent ‘Post Human’ arena tour succeeded in reducing carbon emissions by 38 per cent, emphasising that such changes to touring are possible.Taking place from September 20-26, the tour saw the band take a more sustainable approach to touring, the results of which have now been detailed in a report by AGF.According to the report, the reductions were achieved by using renewable fuel for trucks, plant-based meals, food waste reduction and energy efficient equipment. The tour also banned plastic bottles, relying on back of house and tour bus water coolers, which resulted in the prevention of 3322 plastic bottles being used.The band invested in making recommended changes, while Raw Power Management, United Talent Agency (UTA), Promoter Kilimanjaro, and The O2 (the venue for the London leg of the tour) shared the cost of sustainability implementation advice and tour impact audit.Matt Ash of Raw Power Management said: “Working with an artist in BMTH and a tour production team that was fully behind the approach to sustainable touring was something that we absolutely endorsed and are keen to implement on all future touring whenever possible.”Claire O’Neill, CEO of AGF, added: “During the pandemic, the touring music industry came together on the important topic of sustainability.

Sony has announced that it will plant a tree for anyone who earns a specific trophy in Horizon Forbidden West.As part of Sony’s “Plant and Play” initiative, it will plant a tree on behalf of any player that unlocks the “Reached the Daunt” trophy in Horizon Forbidden West (thanks, Eurogamer).“For the release of Horizon Forbidden West, we want to do something to help nature… with you,” said Sony. “Just like how Aloy fights to save the Earth in the game, we can do something together to help our planet.”This means that in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, anyone who unlocks “Reached the Daunt” before March 25 will have a tree planted for them.
