This is the moment dozens of holidaymakers equipped with towels rushed to bag a sun lounger on the Costa del Sol.
Video footage of scenes at the Hotel Parasol Gardens in Torremolinos this morning (Friday) showed guests patiently waiting on the edge of the pool area poised for staff to give them the nod.
A scrum then ensues as up to 50 tourists, including Brits, scramble to get their towels down first. It comes as frustrated families have been forced to queue and compete for sun loungers due to an array of policies drawn up at different hotels.

Brit Natasha Hawley, 44, from Kent, is on holiday with her husband John and her child Aiden, 20, who has special educational needs.
She said: “The scrum for the sunbeds is something else, it is like a free for all, you can't be polite here you just have to push
