Check out the trailer below.The project is an intimate and enlightening portrait of the band, which explores both the meaning and subject matter behind their songs, while also diving into their evolution as a group and as human beings.Created by Scottish award-winning filmmaker Oscar Sansom, the documentary won’t simply present a narrative about the origins of the band, it’ll instead take a deep dive into the legacy they created through their themes of surveillance, culture, scrutiny, sexuality, gender identity, addiction, trauma and more.It’ll also include informal conversations with both vocalist-guitarist Brian Molko and bassist–guitarist Stefan Olsdal, as well as contributions from artists who either admire or have been inspired by Placebo.

A historic visitor attraction in New Abbey is at the centre of a long-running landscaping and development row.
New Abbey Corn Mill, an 18th century building and heritage site run by Historic Environment Scotland (HES), is in need of specific groundworks that will help alleviate traffic safety issues.
Heavy goods vehicles have problems navigating the access roads and damage has occurred to the corn mill site.
A planning application has now been submitted to Dumfries and Galloway Council by HES, seeking permission to reprofile the site’s garden grounds, install concrete kerbs and granite boulders along the boundary, along with other associated works.
However, there have been six objections to these changes, three of which come from Galloway Preservation Society, Dumfriesshire and Galloway Natural History and Antiquarian Society, and The Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland.
These organisations argue that the move will have an adverse impact on the historic site, a conservation area, and that the proposals do not adequately prioritise pedestrians.
New Abbey Corn Mill is located at the centre of New Abbey village, which is situated on the A710 road that runs south from Dumfries towards the Solway Firth coastal area.
Council planning papers state: “The reason for the proposals is to enable amelioration of current and historic challenges associated with movement of vehicles between the A710 and the U212N, especially the heavy goods vehicles associated with the operational Townhead Sawmills situated to the west, which have tended to cause damage to the corn mill site.
