Since his  death in the middle Sex and the City reboot, fans have wondered how Willie Garson died and how his character, Stanford Blatch, will be written out of And Just Like That.

Mario Cantone is remembering his on-screen husband Willie Garson. The actor, who famously starred as Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) best friend Stanford Blatch) in the "Sex and the City" franchise, passed away in September from pancreatic cancer.

The late Willie Garson’s son, Nathen, attended the And Just Like That premiere in New York where he was supported by his father’s friends and Sex And The City co-stars.The iconic 90s sitcom’s revival has seen three of the four lead actors return; Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. In the wake of Willie’s tragic passing in September, the SATC veteran wasn’t able to see the revival air for himself, so his 20 year old son attended the star-studded event in his honour.

Honoring his father’s legacy. Nearly three months after Willie Garson died of cancer, his son, Nathen Garson, got a special invitation to the premiere of HBO Max’s And Just Like That.

While Willie Garson was missed at the premiere of And Just Like That on Wednesday December 8, the late actor’s son Nathen, 20, attended the screening to celebrate his dad’s final performance. Nathen shared a few photos on his Instagram, which you can see here, from his trip to New York, including a selfie with his girlfriend and a picture of the city skyline on Thursday December 9.
