Here's What to Watch During the 4th of July Weekend

2020 has been difficult for several reasons, the loss of so many talented actors, crashing economy and missed travel plans, the year doesn't seem to end. However, looking at the brighter side of things, now that we are all quarantined at home, we have plenty of time to catch up on our favourite soaps and movies.

As the heatwave continues across the country this week, there are some cool shows to keep you entertained while you spread out on your couch in front of your fans and air conditioner.

The Kissing Booth 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2018 film starring Joey King. But if that's not your jam, I guarantee you'll find something this week that is. Below, all the TV shows and movies to look out for this week. The Alienist: Angel of Darkness: and Luke Evans return for season two of this  period crime drama.

If the heat of July has you wanting to park yourself in front of the AC and veg out, you're not alone -- and there's plenty to keep you entertained at home as musicians get ready for their livestream sets this week.

There are also some great movie blocks, like the entire Twilight saga on Freeform, a good chunk of the Fast and the Furious movies over on TBS, and, of course, AMC will be playing the holiday classic Independence Day on a loop well into the evening.

Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks on July 4 at 8/7c on NBC or the NBC app. Not much is known about the pre-show due to the fact that live performances won't be happening on a main stage, but we do know that John Legend, The Black-Eyed Peas, and Tim McGraw will be stopping by during the livestream.
