The 2019 film “Just Mercy,” which chronicles courtroom struggles against racial injustice and mass incarceration, will be made free on digital platforms throughout June in the wake of George Floyd’s death, Warner Bros. said Tuesday.

Earlier this week it was reported that Henry Cavill was currently in talks to make his triumphant, non-CGI, clean-shaven return to the DCEU as Superman, albeit in a limited capacity. But then our expectations were quickly lowered when it turned out that he was not in negotiations to star in “Man of Steel 2” but maybe a couple of cameos.

The British actor Henry Cavill will reportedly have a cameo in the highly anticipated film The Batman starring Robert Pattinson. The latest news update about the Matt Reeves directorial suggests that Superman star Henry Cavill will have a short cameo in the much-awaited Batman film.

Henry Cavill may not be done playing Superman after all. After starring as the core hero of the DC Comics universe for three movies, the 37-year-old actor is reportedly in talks to reprise his role for a yet-unknown project that will exist in the same canon as “Justice League,” “Wonder Woman,” “Suicide Squad" and more.

Yesterday, it was revealed that Henry Cavill is currently in talks to return to the DC film universe as Superman in a limited capacity. We knew it wasn’t going to be in “Man of Steel 2,” but perhaps the character would be used like Marvel Studios uses The Hulk, as a good supporting character that fans adore but don’t necessarily need a solo film? Well, it appears that Cavill’s potential appearance in a future DC film might be even more limited than that.

HBO Max is officially the future home of “Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” aka The Snyder Cut. The film (TV miniseries?) is expected to arrive in 2021 and has been described by the filmmaker as a massive redo of the superhero film that flopped at the box office and failed to excite fans back in 2017.

And now for news that I honestly never thought I’d have to report—the Snyder Cut is real. Not only is the mythical cut of “Justice League,” fulfilling the vision of director Zack Snyder, a real thing, but it’s actually getting released.

You thought HBO Max officially announcing the release of the director’s cut of “Justice League” would mean outlets would stop writing about The Snyder Cut? Well, you thought wrong.

Look up in the sky! It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s potentially Henry Cavill suiting up again as the Man of Steel. While in 2019, a few short months before he decided not to cameo in “Shazam!” that Cavill was done as Warner Bros.

Two years after departing the role, Henry Cavill is in talks to once again portray Clark Kent/Superman in films based on DC Comics, insiders with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap.

It has been one helluva month for DC Extended Universe fans. First, DCEU fans were treated to the news of Justice League's Snyder Cut releasing in 2021. Now, fans are celebrating the return of Henry Cavill as Superman in the universe. Over the past few months, Cavill's future in the DCEU has been a cause of concern for fans. With Ben Affleck stepping down as the Batman and handing over the cape to Robert Pattinson, fans were curious about Cavill's role in the future of DC films. 

While there are no plans for another Superman movie, that doesn’t mean that Henry Cavill is done portraying the Man of Steel.
