Helen Flanagan's son Charlie had to be rushed to hospital after a nasty fall on a family day out.The ex-Coronation Street star's son was rushed to A&E after breaking his collarbone after an accident at Alton Towers water park in Kent. Taking to her Instagram story to explain the incident, Helen said: "We went to a water park and Charlie slipped, really really badly and it was awful, absolutely horrendous.
“I had to get an ambulance and he had snapped his collarbone into two. It was horrendous, so I spent like six hours in the hospital at Stoke.
“I'd like to say thank you to the paramedics and the doctors and nurses who were amazing.Thank you so much.That was awful, just horrible, horrible, horrible. “To see your child in pain was just horrendous, but he's ok.” She added: “There's actually not much you can do for it.
Apparently it mends by itself but it's horrible when you're a mum and you just wish you could take every pain away from them.” The mum of three then revealed that the accident happened just one day before she was set to fly to Paris with eldest daughter Matilda. However, luckily, the pair still managed to make the trip - and took Charlie along for the ride, with Helen sharing footage of her little one next to the Eiffel Tower.
She wrote alongside it: “Charlie's been amazing bless him so brave x at the Eiffel Tower today.” She added: “He's okay bless him x Just lots of love and attention and watching him like a hawk x” Helen shares her three children - Matilda, seven, Delilah, four and 22-month-old Charlie - with her ex-fiance Scott Sinclair.The couple, who had been together for 13-years called time on their relationship in October.
