Celebrities have reacted to disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein being sentenced to 23 years in prison on March 11. The decision comes two weeks after he was found guilty of rape in the third degree and criminal sexual assault in the first degree.

Weinstein was convicted on two counts last month: criminal sex act for the 2006 assault of a production assistant and rape in the third degree for the 2013 attack on another woman.

Harvey Weinstein wrote "Jen Aniston should be killed" in an email to his representative after he believed the actress had accused him of groping her, which was untrue, The New York Times reported. The email is part of newly surfaced court documents that include correspondences Weinstein made after he was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women in October 2017.

Harvey Weinstein found himself landing in a soup when about 80 women hurled allegations of sexual molestation against him. It gave rise to the #MeToo Movement in Hollywood with cases against many influential and powerful men coming up. In 2017, Harvey was made to step down from his company. In February 2020, he was found guilty of two out of the five felonies. The movie mogul is now a convicted rapist, sentenced 25 years of imprisonment.
