Harry Styles accent confuses fans as they compare new film clip to 'How's Trish' Hollyoaks scene

Harry Styles has left fans confused with the new accent he uses in a clip from his upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling.The 28 year old stars as Jack Chambers in the movie alongside actress Florence Pugh, who plays his wife Alice. Psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling was directed by Harry’s now-girlfriend Olivia Wilde, with the pair meeting for the first time on set.
It'll premiere at the Venice Film Festival on 5 September, before being released in cinemas on 23 September in the UK. In a new clip posted on Instagram, Harry's character is seen arguing with 26 year old Florence's.
Fans were distracted by the star’s changing accent, as he sometimes sounds British before having an American twang. “So is he supposed to be British,” one person questioned, as a second wrote: “Bro is he using a British accent or not".
Another said: "So is he English in this? Because he sounds English in this", while a fourth person exclaimed: "THE BRITISH STILL THERE." The star's acting skills have also drawn attention, as one compared him to the now-infamous "how's Trish" scene in Hollyoaks acted out by Curtis and AJ Pritchard. "it’s giving curtis and aj," tweeted one fan, before another quipped: "I’d argue that aj and curtis are better actors honestly." Harry landed his first film role back in 2017 when he appeared in Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster hit Dunkirk.
