Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly looking for a new home in a private Californian community, just a couple of years after their move to the US.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are keen to move to the Hope Ranch community, a coastal suburb of Santa Barbara, California, because their $14 million mansion in Montecito "does not properly accommodate them," according to reports. When Meghan gave an interview with The Cut earlier this year, the reporter described their Montecito mansion as "startlingly big" but it seems the couple apparently aren't totally content in the property.
Hope Ranch homes can cost as much as $22 million according to a Santa Barbara News Press report. The community has a range of facilities including a country club, golf course and club, and a tennis court - as well as a strong equestrian community with 27 miles of riding trails.
The Daily Mail cites a News-Press claiming Harry and Meghan may have already bought a property in the community, but this has not been confirmed. There has also been no indication as to whether the couple are looking to move into a larger property than their current home, or even downsize.
OK! has contacted the Sussexes' representative for comment. Montecito is a popular area for Hollywood celebrities such as the Sussexes' friend Ellen DeGeneres, Katy Perry, and Jennifer Aniston.
