Restrictions were introduced in 2006, restricting the amount of liquids you can pack in your cabin bag. These rules include things from water to thicker liquids and even foods such as jams and confidents.
The rules came into force after British police foiled a terror plot in a bid to detonate liquid explosives onboard multiple flights.
