House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is due in Los Angeles tonight for a high dollar fundraiser at the home of Haim Saban as Democrats seek to win back control of the chamber.
The reception will raise money for the Jeffries Victory Fund, a joint committee of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Jeffries’ campaign and political action committee.
Saban and his wife Cheryl are hosts along with Ari Emanuel, Tom Rothman and Bill Benenson and Laurie Benenson, per an invite.
Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-CA), the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, is scheduled to appear with Jeffries, along with DCCC chair Suzan Delbene.
Tickets start at $5,000 per person, and rise to $300,700 for event chairs.
Republicans hold a razor thin margin in the House, 218-213. Each party has 11 toss-up races, according to Cook Political Report.
