H.E.R. Talks Oscar-Shortlisted "Revolution" Song for 'Judas and the Black Messiah'

Judas and the Black Messiah took top honors from the African American Film Critics Association, the world's largest group of Black film critics. The film was named best picture, with star Daniel Kaluuya winning best supporting actor for his portrayal of Black Panther Party deputy chairman Fred Hampton and Dominique Fishback named best supporting actress for her role as Deborah Johnson, Hampton's fiancee and mother of his child.

Star Daniel Kaluuya has been nominated for every major award so far and took home both the Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor right in time for AMPAS voting.

In Disney’s Mulan, composer Harry Gregson-Williams found the opportunity to put his stamp on the journey of a classic Disney character. In his second collaboration with director Niki Caro, Gregson-Williams would pen a score and co-write an original song, “Loyal Brave True,” seeing both of these works shortlisted for the Oscars in their respective categories on February 9.
