Guns and drugs seized after shooting blitz in north Manchester

Guns and kilos of drugs have been seized as part of a crackdown launched following a blitz of shootings in north Manchester, police say.

There were a total of 10 firearms incidents in the north of the city in the first three months of this year.

These included incidents on Foleshill Avenue, Queens Road, Honister Road, Somerfield Road and St Peter's Square in the city centre where guns were fired.
