Critics slammed Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday for referring to America's youth as "our children" during her interview with late night talk show host Seth Meyers.  "When you see our kids, and I truly believe that they are our children, they are the children of our country, of our communities, I mean, our future is really bright if we, if we prioritize them, and therefore prioritize the climate crisis and the need to address it. BreAnna Bell Hollywood is mourning the loss of famed actress Angela Lansbury with stars like Josh Gad, George Takei and Jeremy O. Harris all penning touching tributes to the late actor and singer on social media. Lansbury died at her Los Angeles home on Tuesday. She was just five days shy of her 97th birthday. A Texas border mayor called out both parties Monday on "America's Newsroom," arguing Republicans and Democrats are the "root cause" of the border crisis.  "It is a crisis relative to immigration and border security. And unfortunately, we have a tendency to look beyond our borders for the elusive root causes when in reality and unfortunately, the fact remains that politicians on both sides of the aisle are the root cause," said Rio Grande City, Texas Mayor Joel Villarreal.  Villarreal said no mayor or governor should "bear the burden" for what he described as a "broken immigration system."  Villarreal said he is not confident the influx of illegal immigration will end because "neither party has delivered immigration reform in several decades." Vice President Kamala Harris visited Austin this weekend, but declined to make a stop at the southern border.

Prince Harry's memoir "won't see light of day", according to a royal expert.The Duke of Sussex, 38, has been working on a tell-all book about his life and has been making alterations since the Queen's passing. However according to The Daily Telegraph, royal biographer Tina Brown doesn't believe the book will be published as it would mean the Prince would have "no way back" into royal life.

The Season 19 premiere of ABC’s long-running medical drama kicked off with a slew of brand-new cast members — the class of surgical interns on their first day at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, much like the pilot episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” introduced that cast on March 27, 2005. These freshmen interns, though, are the opposite of the Meredith Greys and Cristina Yangs we met all those years ago. Because the Grey Sloan surgical residency program was shut down last season after a patient’s death, this new group was selected in desperation: They’re the rejects and malcontents who didn’t make it elsewhere. New series regulars Harry Shum Jr., Adelaide Kane, Alexis Floyd, Midori Francis and Niko Terho play the interns, and their backstories will unfold throughout the season.

Meredith is now the chief of surgery at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, and she’s been charged with rebuilding its surgical intern program after it was dismantled last season following a patient’s death. Five of those interns will be new characters this season. Yet as Variety reported over the summer, Pompeo (and Meredith) will soon be taking a step back, and will appear in only eight of this season’s episodes — though all the episodes will still have Meredith’s voiceover at the beginning and end. Along with the development she’s shepherding at her production company Calamity Jane, Pompeo is starring in and executive producing an as-yet untitled limited series at Hulu about a couple who adopt a child they think is an 8-year-old with dwarfism — but then things begin to go awry within their family.
