Scottish thriller Granite Harbour returns to Aberdeen for a new three-part series on Thursday 2 May on BBC Scotland - and BBC iPlayer.
The previous series saw former sergeant in the Royal Military Police, now detective, Davis Lindo (Romario Simpson) join the Aberdeen police and attempt to fit in. He and his partner DS Lara Bartlett (Hannah Donaldson) were tasked with solving the murder of an oil tycoon in Aberdeen.
As the show returns, Davis has settled into the team which is lucky because they have big cases on their hands.
The team at Aberdeen investigate two fatal cases with dark consequences which immerse the Major Investigations Team into the criminal underworld. But as the show makes a comeback, which characters are returning? And are there any new cast members? During the first series, Davis completed his tour with the Royal Military Police and envisioned himself becoming a Scotland Yard detective. Instead Davis sound himself training as a Detective Constable in Aberdeen.
Davis surprised himself by striking up an unlikely friendship with his mentor DCI Lara ‘Bart’ Bartlett. On returning to the show, Romario said: “It was nice to return to Aberdeen and know that people want to see more of Granite Harbour and see it develop.
The Aberdonians seemed excited to see the drama filming back.
