Good Morning Britain star Pip Tomson has confirmed she's leaving the hit show after a decade.The 45-year-old presenter took to social media to share the news with fans, confirming her departure from the popular breakfast show with an emotional message. Sharing a collage of images from her tenure on the ITV series to her 15.4K Instagram followers, Pip penned: "The sun is now setting on my (almost) 10 yrs at Good Morning Britain & ITV. "It's been both fun, infuriating, inspiring & unforgettable.
"Proud to work on such a great forward-thinking show & I’ll miss the awesome team terribly [crying face and heart emojis]". Elaborating on her decision to call it quits, Pip continued: "But you know when it's time for a new adventure - and it's my time. "To all those many people who say they don't see enough of me on the TV then just watch this space… News coming soon", she then added a cryptic shushing face emoji and a fist.
Her co-stars flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts, with fellow GMB presenter Sean Fletcher commenting: "Good luck Pip. Sorry to see you go." Weather presenter and meteorologist Laura Tobin said: "Sad to see you go", adding a crying face emoji. GMB North America correspondent Noel Phillips said: "Good luck bab." Viewers were also keen to share their thoughts on the star's exit from the show.
One said: "Good Luck in your new role [smiling face emoji] keep up the excellent work with the animal charities!" Another said: "Hope you are returning to the north east.. Good luck to the future".
