Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway shares update on how 'different' husband Derek Draper looks now

Kate Garraway has revealed that her sick husband Derek Draper, appeared “focused and engaged” as the nurse put on Good Morning for him to watch on Monday. Mum-of-two Kate, 53, appeared alongside presenter Ben Shepherd to share an update on how her husband Derek, 52, was doing in hospital.

Kate Garraway has returned to Good Morning Britain – telling her co-presenters “Don’t be too nice”.

ITV presenter has been on leave since her husband Derek Draper became seriously ill with coronavirus. Derek, who is now free from the virus, has recently started coming round for the first time since coming out of his induced coma after being admitted to hospital in March.
