Gogglebox favourites Dave and Shirley Griffiths have not only announced they’ll be returning for the next series, but have even revealed when they’ll be back on our screens. The husband and wife duo from Caerphilly took to Instagram to share the cheeky reveal, penning: ‘Happy holidays, see you all in September.
’Series 19 wrapped up early last month, with the likes of Georgia Bell and bestie Abby Lynn, Mica Ven and Lee Riley leaving fans in hysterics, and now there’s only a few more months until they’ll return for the next series. In the meantime, Celebrity Gogglebox stars including the cast of Heartstopper and Rylan Clark with his mum, have been keeping fans entertained.
Fans were over the moon at Shirley and Dave’s news, with one writing: ‘Can’t wait to see you both in September till then cheers,’ while another penned: ‘Have a fantastic time look forward to seeing you in September. ’Dave and Shirley will be back joining Lee and his bestie Jenny Newby, who missed the last episodes of series 19 due to surgery, with Lee keeping fans updated in the meantime.
Confirming his co-star was back out of hospital, Lee also revealed that they’d be back on our screens later this year. In a heart-warming clip, Lee said: ‘Look who I’ve just bumped into, she’s out of hospital,’ while Jenny added: ‘Hi! It’s me!
