Gogglebox's Ellie Warner 'unlikely to return to TV soon' as she stays by boyfriend's side

Gogglebox since 2015 and continue to be popular amongst Channel 4 viewers for their hilarious one-liners. However, the Leeds duo have been absent from the programme after Ellie's partner Nat, who has made brief appearances on the show, was hit by a car on a night out leaving him in critical condition. While Ellie is said to have "barely left" her boyfriends' bedside, it seems as though the reality star won't be making a return to TV anytime soon. Nat is reported to be fighting for his life in intensive care with a broken neck and collapsed lungs. Ellie's close friend said the 31-year-old hairdresser is in a state of "shock" and has been left heartbroken by the accident. They said: "Her heart is totally ripped in two by all of this and she is still in a state of shock about how things have ended up. Confirming the news in a short statement, West Yorkshire Police confirmed: "The pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital and enquiries into the incident are ongoing. "Although it is unsure when the sisters will be returning to Gogglebox, fans on social media wished the Warner family all the best. Taking to Twitter, one fan @Rozzi_98 wrote: "No Ellie and Izzie this week due to Nat's accident.
