Ben Shephard read out another update from his Good Morning Britain colleague Kate Garraway who has been keeping fans informed of her husband’s coronavirus battle.
Kate has been posting weekly messages on Instagram following clap for carers, which have in turn been read out on GMB.
But this time her update was tinged with hope as Kate revealed that she had been speaking to Derek Draper via video call after being told, despite his condition, he may be able to hear her.
