Peacock has released a new trailer for the series’ second season, which is set to air on May 5.

The clip picks up right where season 1 left off, with Wickie (Renée Elise Goldsberry) announcing that they are “officially in album mode.”
Happy to be given the freedom to write their own material, the group has one major obstacle – their album is due in six weeks.
Girls5Eva follows a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 90’s who get sampled by a young rapper, inspiring its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot. The show also stars Sara Bareilles, Busy Philipps, and Paula Pell.
