EXCLUSIVE: Gersh announced on Thursday that Catherine Benoit Masraff has been hired as Head of Human Resources. The agency has also promoted Kenji Shishido to the role of agent in the Below the Line/Production department, as well as nine others to coordinator in various departments.
Promotees to coordinator include Harrison Perkins (Below the Line), Alyssa Urgo (Talent), Schuyler Roos (Talent), Annie Gaspar (Talent), Sydney Chozick (Talent), Kelly Colligan (Alternative), Brett Bennett (Alternative), Rachel Erickson (TV Lit), and Hayley Nusbaum (Books).
Gersh recently announced promotions and a new hire within its Digital division, continuing the growth plan the agency has undertaken following an equity investment by Crestview Partners in 2023.
Masraff joins from Endeavor Unscripted, where she served as Head of HR. She brings extensive experience in scaling smaller companies into global organizations and expertise in mergers and acquisitions, having successfully integrated organizations during strategic acquisitions at both private equity firm TPR Holdings and Endeavor. An accomplished HR leader, she has also held senior roles at top French head-hunting firm Michel Page International, LVMH Cosmetics, and Refinery29, where she was Head of HR.
Shishido has been with Gersh since 2016 when he joined the Commercial and Music Video Production department as a coordinator. A native Angelino of Japanese American heritage, he is passionate about building the careers of emerging below the line artists and spotlighting diverse creatives from multicultural backgrounds.
