Love Island: All Stars' Georgia Steel is keen to "shut the door" on a traumatic time for her personally, as she prepares to set foot in the reality TV villa once again. Speaking to OK! and other press, the 25-year-old was quizzed about her feelings on the reliability of men following her well-documented catfishing ordeal involving the criminal Medi Abalimba.
"Obviously over the past year and the past couple of years I've been through so much, and I'm glad to kind of shut the door on that," she declared. "2024; going in the villa, give it my all, have a good time, use all the tools and knowledge that I've learnt from all them experiences, and just be myself.
I will always stand up for myself and I think it's right to tell people when they're being a n**head and I think it's right to tell people when they're lovely." Georgia, who appeared in the fourth series of Love Island back in 2018, went on to add: "I've changed a lot. You ask anyone if they've changed from 19 to 25 and I think they'll say a lot.
"I think we all grow into ourselves and that's when you really become a young lady. I've just grown up and I've learnt a lot, and I've got wiser and I think it will be a really nice for people to hopefully see that [on TV]." As for the aforementioned love scam, this unfolded while she was dating Medi - living under the alias Miguel, a supposed US government agent - after meeting him in a London nightclub.
Previously recounting the cautionary tale to Lorraine stand-in presenter Christine Lampard, Georgia said: "He had no social media platforms and I'd just come off one of the biggest reality TV shows in Europe. And him not being like that or having any awareness with who I was and my past, it made me feel like it was genuine,

Love Island All Stars has already been serving us some major style inspiration, but one outfit in particular has stood out so far – Georgia Steel’s black and white date night co ord. The monochrome Robbie Linen Two Piece, £248 here, from Reformation was the perfect balance of chic, timeless and statement-making for a date night look in the sun, and its black mini skirt and bralet top trimmed with white banding along the edges definitely made it a stand out piece that looked effortlessly sophisticated.
Todd Gilchrist editor Although it isn’t structured any differently from dozens of other cradle-to-grave documentaries about artistic luminaries, “Luther: Never Too Much” sheds light on much more than just the life and career of R&B singer Luther Vandross. Drawn largely from interview and performance footage of Vandross over his almost 40 years in entertainment, and bolstered and contextualized by retrospective talks will collaborators and confidantes, director Dawn Porter’s film exposes some uneasy truths about the music industry and the media we may now know, but whose seeming ubiquitousness at the time he was alive may be difficult to fully comprehend.
