General Hospital star was arrested for public intoxication on May 26 by the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority Police, ET confirms.According to the arrest report, police were notified of a man asleep on the floor at the airport around 8:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they located Christopher asleep on the floor.
Upon awakening, Christopher told offers he missed his flight.The report states that, during his conversation with officers, Christopher «displayed the objective signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication and was unable to care for himself.» As such, he was arrested and booked for public intoxication.Christopher, who starred as Nikolas Cassadine on for two decades, was later cited and will appear in court on a later date. ET has reached out to the actor's manager for comment.Christopher's latest trouble with the law came three and a half years after he was arrested in Indiana for public intoxication.At the time, reported that the arrest, which took place on Christopher's birthday, occurred after an Uber driver contacted the police when the actor reportedly passed out in the back seat of his car and urinated himself.

"General Hospital" alum Tyler Christopher was arrested Friday evening for public intoxication after he was found sleeping on the floor at the Hollywood Burbank Airport, police confirmed Wednesday. Christopher, who played Nikolas Cassadine and Connor Bishop for 20 years on the daytime soap opera, told officers he missed his flight after police woke him up, Burbank police said in a release sent to Fox News Digital.The 50-year-old had been sleeping inside Terminal A of the regional airport. "Mr. Christopher displayed the objective signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication and was unable to care for himself," the release said. "Therefore, he was arrested and booked for public intoxication." His bail was set at $250 and will appear in court at a later date. Fox News Digital has reached out to a rep for Christopher for comment. Christopher was also arrested for public intoxication in 2019 in Indiana while celebrating his birthday. He later pleaded guilty to the charges, according to People magazine. Aside from his "General Hospital" roles from 1996 to 2016, Christopher also played Stefan DiMera and Signore Christofero on "Days of Our Lives" for more than 100 episodes between 2001 and 2019.

Born in Chicago on Dec. 23, 1932, Gerald studied acting and stage direction at the Goodman Theater. Following his education, he acted on stages all across the nation, performing opposite Sherman Hemsley, Rita Moreno, Jessica Tandy, James Broderick and Jeanne Crain. After performing with Hemsley, “The Jeffersons” star convinced Castillo to pursue a film and TV career in Los Angeles.
