Gemma, 41, is due to make her debut as Mama Morton in Chicago: The Musical, which kicks off in Sunderland on May 31 and will head to Cardiff, Blackpool, Sheffield and Norwich, before ending in Oxford on July 23.
Whilst onstage for the launch night of her one-woman show, The GC’s Big Night Out in Manchester on Tuesday, the TV personality took a moment to give her opinion on her critics who have trolled her for her signing on the iconic West End show. Gemma shared her feelings on the subject with her audience of adoring fans, saying: “I’ve had a lot of stick from theatre goers and performers going, ‘Oh she just got it because she’s the GC.’ “I didn’t just get it because of the GC.
