Gemma Collins' fiancé Rami Hawash was rushed to hospital after suffering from a "serious accident" while he was at work this week. Former TOWIE star Gemma shared the news on her Instagram page on Friday, 8 April, as she posted a snap of her taking care of her beau. Rami was sporting a cut on his nose and wore an eye patch, as he was seen cuddling up to Gemma, who just started her new tour Big Night Out.
The reality TV beauty also explained that she had had a stressful time travelling down from Glasgow to London trying to get back to her love, as she ended up breaking down on the motorway at 4.30am. A break down in the car," Gemma began. "But I made it back to you. Our first week apart since dating ….
I missed you. "Also guys just before I left for my tour Rami had a very serious accident on his eye and nose at work," she continued. "He needs an operation it’s been a really weird week leading up to my tour!!!" the star exclaimed.
While Gemma had been getting ready for her latest tour for months, she shared her frustration about the project being overshadowed by a series of unfortunate events in hers and Rami's lives. "If you don’t laugh you would certainly cry!!! He he," Gemma went on to joke. Despite that, and an incredibly tiring night driving from one end of the country to the other, the former Dancing On Ice contestant insisted they must "remain positive" in moments such as this.
